Wednesday, 26 September 2018 – The Employees Trust Fund (TAP) in collaboration with Autoriti Monetari Brunei Darussalam (AMBD) and Financial Planning Association of Brunei Darussalam (FPAB) continued its 10 Years towards Retirement roadshow at the Theatre Hall, Ministry of Finance and Economy Building, Jalan Kebangsaan Bandar Seri Begawan.

The roadshow is part of TAP's initiatives to create awareness on the importance of retirement planning and the need to be prepared earlier, prior to retiring. The target for the roadshow is TAP members who will be retiring in the next 10 to 15 years.

Among others, the activities during the roadshow include talks on retirement planning by TAP, talks and financial planning consultation by FPAB, as well as generating Credit Report for the members and Get-Rich-Quick Scheme Awareness by AMBD. 

Information about 'TAP_Brunei' mobile application was also shared during the roadshow.  The app can be downloaded through App Store for iOS users and Google Play for Android users or via TAP website at www.tap.com.bn which allows members to make estimation of their retirement savings. This application also sought to help members to plan for their retirement and take necessary action now in order to achieve their retirement goals.

As for members who have already registered to TAP's online portal e-Amanah, they are able to obtain their current TAP and SCP balances and keep track of their savings online.
